Some Kierstin magic.

Since I have been trying to grow my hair out a bit I have been trying not to color it as much.  I went to my awesome stylist and let her do what she wanted with it. This is the result.

Been a while...

It's hard for me to believe that I actually haven't colored my hair in 7 weeks.  I honestly cannot remember a time when I went so long without coloring it.  I'm working on growing it out a bit and know that if I don't stop coloring it so much it's never going to happen. I've been tempted several times to go back to blonde but knew I would lose all my progress if I did.  So for now, I'm patiently trying to grow it out.

The top picture is how my hair started out.  I used the remaining portion of a two part hair coloring I had from a while back.  The part I used was the part used to highlight your hair. You can't really tell from the picture but it actually turned out pretty cool.  The roots are a reddish and the rest is a reddish blonde.

My Obsession

I've colored my hair on average of once a week for about the last 7 years. Which means I've spent approximatley $2,000 on hair dye, bleach, developer, toner and so on. I've spent over a 1,000 hours coloring my hair. And who knows how much gasoline and time with trips to the beauty store.
I don't really know why I'm so obsessed with my hair.  It entertains me.  It's been my hobby for so long now that I don't really know of any other way to be. People who know me, know that's what I do.  I change my hair.  You never know what to expect the next time you see me...and you know you love me for it!
