I started out with pink hair and purple bangs (which I didn't take a picture of). I bleached the front to get the purple out.

Then I colored it with Revlon Colorsilk Luminista - Red

Then to finish it I used Manic Panic - Electric Lava

My seven year old decided it would be a good idea to use my camera and then she lost it. So I didn't have a way to take pictures of my hair for several weeks. But I did find my camera last week so I can get it caught up again. I don't have pictures of the colors it's been since I last posted but just know that it's changed about three times since then.

I am amazed at how fast pink fades. I can do everything your supposed to and it still looks like crap within a few washes.
I mixed my own color. It's darker than it was when I just did the manic panic. But still cool!

I decided it was time for a drastic change. I was going to color the pink over the brown but when I put it on it wasn't as bright as I wanted it so I bleached it then colored it. Funny but I feel more like myself now.

Catching up

I'm finally trying to get caught up. I bleached my hair then decided to do a light brown. The first color had a green tint to it so I colored it again with the golden brown and I really liked it. Which is why I left it that way for a couple weeks. Probably the longest I've left a color for a while.

Miranda

Miranda cuts my hair and has for more years than I can remember. I love her! I found out while in the middle of moving, that she was going to be moving. Far, far away. I was so bummed. Everytime I thought about it I wanted to cry.
I went and saw her on her very last day. I will really miss her. Who else will listen to my crazy hair stories, laugh and offer advice? Who else can I trust to tell all of my life drama to? Who else is going to know just the way I like my hair cut?

Life doesn't stop......

I bet you were starting to wonder if I was still alive. I mean seriously, do you think I could go a month without coloring my hair?
I moved a month ago and haven't had time to post anything. Plus the fact that I spent time waiting for my internet to be hooked up.
I have a horrible memory and can't remember the names of all the colors I did. Some black, some red. I used a Feria red which I didn't take a picture of cause it was lame. Not even worth a picture!
I'm currently enjoying the red passion. I haven't used this color before, it has a slight pink tint to it (which you can't really tell from the picture). I like it!

I had already been thinking about cutting my hair really short. I figured that if I was going to bleach it again I would probably have to cut it. So Saturday morning I woke up, got out the clippers and cut it all off. Then I bleached it. It turned out very brassy so then I colored the white chocolate over it. It's still not quite the color I wanted but it'll do for now.

I knew that when I decided to bleach my hair it would either turn a light blue or green. The manic panic is not easy to get rid of.

The blue was taking on a greenish tint and I didn't like it. So.....time to change it.

I'm tired of shampoo!

Washed it, looked like crap, had to recolor it. If it had looked as good as it does in this picture it would have been great. It didn't though. Looked like crap still.

Then I decided to color it with just a plain brown color so that I could actually color something over it and it would stay. This color was fine, if I wanted boring brown. Which I didn't.

So, I mixed three different colors of manic panic together. I wasn't sure what color it would be but this is how it turned out. It looks black but I know after I wash it a few times it won't anymore. It seems to have a purple tint to it.

So there you have it. The last two days of my life.........

Sometimes I get so frustrated with how quickly a color will wash out. After only one wash the deadly nightshade had faded into a pink color that I didn't really like. So, I had to change it of course.
I wanted to do burgundy but found this color instead. It looks NOTHING like the box. At first I was dissapointed and I didn't like it. I was planning on changing it tomorrow. But after looking at it all day it's grown on me and I really like it!
By the way, it is still purple in the front.

Manic Panic - Deadly Nightshade

Since my hair had black in it I had to take the color out to color over it. Once I took the color out this was what it looked like. My kids thought it was really cool that my hair was a "rainbow".

I left it purple in the front and I also left a lighter section. In the picture it looks like there's blue in it too, but there isn't. I wish the pictures would capture it the way it really looks!
