6 months

Staying away from the scissors didn't last, my hair got too unruly. I haven't cut any length off of the top so this is 6 months of growth. I think it's about the length it was when I shaved it.  So yay for progress!

3 Months

It's been three months since I shaved my head and I decided I would add a photo every three months to show the progress. So here you go...

                                       

6 weeks

It's hard to believe that its already been six weeks since I colored my hair. I'm kinda surprised by the color it is. I guess my hair has gotten lighter over the years. As it grows out more I'm really curious to see what it looks like. I haven't seen my natural hair color is so many years. I'm going to attempt to not cut my hair for an entire year. It may get to out of control and I may end up with a mullet so I'll have to cut some of it, but I thought it would be an interesting experiment. So here goes 10 1/2 more months of no cutting.

My Mom

I love my Mom.  She's the best!  We found out recently that she has breast cancer.  She is going to have to undergo 24 rounds of chemo.  Yesterday I went and shaved her head. Others shaved their heads to show support too.  This was a hard decision for me to make since I have been trying to grow my hair out for the last few months. After thinking about my Mom and everything that she has done for me and still does for me I really felt like I needed to do something to show her I was behind her.  So I shaved my head.  But the real kicker is that I decided as long as my Mom is fighting cancer I won't color my hair.  This is going to be really hard for me and a huge challenge.  I hope that my Mom will see how much she means to me and that I'm behind her 100%!

This used to be my favorite color.  I haven't seen it for a while and was so stoked to find it at the store.

Oops.

I decided to color my hair and it ended up way darker than I wanted. So I had to take the color back out.  I forgot to take a picture with the other color in, so this is after I took the color out.

Wella Color Charm Toner - Pale Blonde

Bleached it twice.  Then used toner.
