Manic Panic - After Midnight Blue

I really LOVED the turquoise, but it sucked! Two washes and it looked like crap. It washed out too easily. So I decided that I would do a blue I got a few weeks ago. I put it on over the turquoise and you couldn't see it at all. So I bleached it and then did the blue again. You still couldn't see it. The first picture was taken outside and you can't even see a trace of it. I was going to try something new instead, but I decided I would wash it a few times to see what happened. It really faded once I washed it (about 5 times). So now it's actually visible.
My hands were VERY blue. Some colors seem to stain everything they touch more than others, and this is one of them. My kids thought it was hilarious that my hands were blue and I looked a little like an alien.

I washed my hair and most of the color washed out. Especially the chunk in the back. It looked really, really bad. So, of course I had to fix it. I decided to try adding another turquoise color to see if it would hold better. Hopefully this will actually last.

I have had so many compiments on it since I've had it turquoise. People seem to really like it.

I know what you're all thinking....and the answer is no, I can't leave it alone. It's just way too much fun changing it. I decided I wanted to take out the one streak and make it a little more low key. It's hard to see the color from the first picture but it looks really cool. And if I pull it back you can see it much better. Also, the color looks different if it's down or pulled back. It looks more green down and more blue pulled back. I like how it turned out. Maybe I'll get a picture of it down in the sun so you can see the color better.

I decided that I wanted to put a patch of pink in the back part of my hair. Plus, I wanted to fix one of the patches in the front. So I set out to bleach what I wanted. Once it was bleached I kind of liked the lighter pink instead of the darker pink (it was harder to see the dark since the black was running into it). So I was going to use the lighter pink instead. I had it in my hair when it was time to get Orin from school. This is what I looked like when I picked him up. The first thing he said when he got in the car was....."Mom, your hair looks so cool." Really? I thought it was a bit of a mess.

In the picture below, the front looks like it's all the same color and the back looks like it's a different color but it really wasn't that way. This was what it looked like after I finished it.

I was going to leave the darker pink but I really liked the lighter pink so I decided I would change all of it to the lighter pink. The only problem was that the bleach had been sitting all day and didn't pull the color out as well as it should have.

So this is what it looks like right now (it's annoying that the pictures really make it look the same). I'm going to change it again tonight cause I want it lighter, not as bright. It looks really cool, but I'm obsessed about my hair (as if you didn't know) so I have to fix it!

That was a really LONG (and probably confusing) story!
